Meaning of each letter:

INTPs tend to be perceived as people who aren't easy to understand or get a handle on. Of all the types, they show the greatest precision in expression and thinking, and seem to be constantly on guard. They can ruthlessly filter out the inessential and tend to have an enormous capacity for concentration. They value intelligence above all else, and can sometimes come across as intellectual snobs. INTPs are logicians, mathematicians, physicists, scientists, and philosophers. Recognition for their work often comes only after death (Galvani). They aren't well suited to ordinary office work, and as introverts they tend not to be especially popular, nor do they try particularly hard to be. As supervisors, they tend to be very loyal to the company and to their subordinates. Their quirks tend to be tolerated better in men than in women. Einstein-like genius paired with a scatterbrained absent-mindedness isn't expected of women the way it is casually excused as a charming eccentricity in men. Men of this type, compared to women, suffer from lower social sensitivity and commit many social gaffes they often don't even notice. Among the great strengths of INTPs is independence of thought — the ability to come up with an idea and think it all the way through to its full logical consequences is a mark of genuine maturity. Another strength is precise expression — even after a long time, they're able to reproduce a conversation they had, or something they read. They would benefit from occasionally checking their most beloved and cherished intellectual-intuitive projects against facts and reality, and evaluating their conclusions in light of what these facts and constraints actually mean. They're aware of their own impracticality, and know that however good they are at coming up with new solutions and formulating new concepts, practical implementation is their weak point — which can be devastatingly discouraging and demotivating for subordinates who were counting on their tangible support.
