Meaning of each letter:

I – Introversion N – iNtuition F – Feeling J – Judging

They're more aware of the influence they have on the people around them, and are also less focused on the organization and on moving it toward the future. They tend to think in terms of values and judgment, which makes decision-making relatively easy for them. They tend to take a lot of things too personally and are more vulnerable than others. Since their school years, they've tended to be capable, high-achieving students with creative abilities, and they take their studies, and later their work, very responsibly and seriously. They're sometimes held back by a tendency toward excessive perfectionism. They tend to have a very strong capacity for empathy, for tuning into the feelings of others, often before the other person even becomes aware of the feeling themselves. INFJs don't like being the bearer of bad news; on the contrary, it makes them feel good when they can bring pleasure to others. In work and in everyday life, they tend to be very sensitive and attentive toward others, careful not to hurt anyone. They do well working within an organization, and are less often independent entrepreneurs. They're able to motivate people and, thanks to their intuition, to make creative and humane use of others' abilities. As supervisors and colleagues, they're attuned to the feelings of others and can serve as a reliable barometer of both the group atmosphere and individual moods. It happens that they tend to keep their heightened perception of interpersonal dynamics mostly to themselves. Their leadership style tends to be participative, and they're usually willing to listen to others' opinions and consult with them. As partners, as well as colleagues and supervisors, they tend to be faithful and devoted, generally wary of too much physical contact. Their circle of friends tends to be rather limited, stable, and relatively closed. Those who manage to get close to an INFJ tend to be almost overwhelmed by how much untapped richness lies hidden within them.
