THE MEANING OF SELF-KNOWLEDGE - WHO WE ARE ACCORDING TO THE PERSONALITY TYPE SYSTEM
Your personality is who you are. Each of us has our
own unique character, personality. Character influences how we act and feel. Despite
significant differences, our shared traits can be grouped into 16 basic categories –
the personality type system. The foundations of this system were laid by Carl Jung, and it was brought to its
current form by the American researchers Katharine Cook Briggs and Isabel Briggs
Myers, who created a tool for determining
personality type. (Based on the personality type typology, William Bridges created the Organization
Character Index
(OCI), a test used to determine the character of a specific
organization.)
The most important single ingredient in the formula of success is knowing how to get along with people.
